Your first matches are about leaving danger fast and learning one rule: standing still during Super Vision gets you found. Treat every round as map practice.
How rounds work
- Survivors win if the match timer reaches zero with at least one survivor alive.
- The hunter wins by eliminating every survivor before the timer ends.
- The supe role rotates between players across matches.
- Homelander is free; Stormfront requires Credits or the Early Access gamepass during testing.
Your first 60 seconds
- Spawn is exposed — immediately move to another floor via stairs or elevators.
- Do not stand in open hallways; break line of sight behind offices and corners.
- Crouch when you hear Super Vision or flight audio nearby.
- Use your phone to ping Homelander's location for teammates when it is safe.
- Compound V is a risk-reward power-up — only inject when you have an escape route.
Habits that win games
- Turn volume up: footsteps, flight, and scan sounds are free information.
- Play with friends early — phone coordination is the strongest survivor tool.
- Watch experienced players for floor routes before copying aggressive plays.
- If caught in a laser, reposition vertically with elevators instead of panic-running in straight lines.

Survivors are not meant to outrun Homelander in open space. You win with timing, sound discipline, and vertical map play.
Leave spawn immediately
New players die because they loot or emote in the open spawn floor. Your only goal in the first ten seconds is reaching cover on another level.
Super Vision discipline
When scan audio plays, crouch behind solid cover and freeze if needed. Break vision, then relocate — repeated peeks from the same corner are predictable.
Phones and teamwork
Tag Homelander when you have an exit path. Good teams split floors so one player baits scan while others rotate toward objectives or safer timers.
Compound V timing
Temporary laser eyes can distract or punish an overcommitted hunter. Use shots to force reposition, not to hero-duel in the open. Always plan where you run after injecting.
